MP&MS Preschool Summer Camp extended care is available from 7:30 - 6 PM Monday – Friday. If you find that you are going to be later than 6pm please call ASAP 415-902-7096. Repeat late after 6pm pick up’s will be subject to an additional fee.

 

Where and when, times and locations:

We do not have a designated preschool afternoon room so we incorporate almost every classroom into our program. We change classrooms every week to allow the afternoon kids to explore all the different rooms in the preschool.

 

Typical Schedule:

3:30 - afternoon time officially begins, when all classroom teachers leave. Free play on the playground/structure

3:15 - 4:30 (4:45). We are flexible with the outside time due to the fact that we feel it paramount for children to have a flexible opportunity to engage in what they want to be doing.

4:30 - 4:45 - Playground clean up and walking up to the pre school bathroom. Bathroom break and than transition into the classroom for a quick circle time, review of rules/expectations, book reading, songs, movement, etc.

4:45 - 6:00 - Organized activities and free play. We do sometimes offer a light afternoon snack option, but we encourage the kids to finish their lunches. We do not offer a daily afternoon snack as that many parents have said that it can interfere with dinnertime. Upon pickup the afternoon staff will relay any important information from earlier in the day.
